Eagle Nation Out-This Thursday! 9-27-18
EAGLE NATION NIGHT OUT: Thursday, September 27th @ 5:00pm
Staff & students---want to support one of our own? All family members welcome to attend.
Christian Simon’s mother coaches the NVHS Varsity Volleyball team. They are hosting MVHS for the annual “Pink Out Game” which supports breast cancer awareness. For those of you who may not know, Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall of 2014 at the start of the volleyball season. One message she received read, "I pray your 'mess' can become a message of hope & healing." The amazing support of the coaches, players and parents in the Wildcat Girls Volleyball Program and across NVHS was overwhelming and she is forever grateful for the outreach during a very difficult experience! Likewise, the support from the extended communities of MVHS and WVHS during that time by creating a "Three Valleys One Fight" T-shirt and event is something she will always cherish. The mutual respect and camaraderie we continue to share is something we take great pride in across District 204.
For anyone that wants to join, we will be meeting at NVHS in the Faculty Cafeteria at 5:00PM for pizza & poster making. We will then attend the Varsity volleyball game together as a program. Donations will be accepted for the cause at the gymnasium door. All STEPS family members welcome to attend.
